WEAVERS’  CAMP- learn to weave

Weavers’  camp is organized every summer from 29^th -31^st August.

It is divided in 9 weeks.

1^st week-   29^th June- 6^th July

2^nd week-    7^th July- 13^th July (Dragacevo’s terracotta)

3^rd week-   14^th July- 20^th July

4^th week-   21^st July- 27^th July (Weavers’  festival in Dubac)

5^th week-   28^th July- 3^rd August

6^th week-   4^th August- 10^th August (Trumpeters festival in Guca)

7^th week- 11^th August- 17^th August

8^th week-  18^th August- 24^th August

9^th week-  25^th August- 31^st August

All materials and looms are provided.

There are possibilities for weaving courses during the year (individually).

Colony of ceramics “Dragacevo’s terracotta”

Colony of ceramics “Dragacevo’s terracotta” started in 2005 in the organization of DAMM KERAMIK STUDIO (Marica Jovicevic Petrovic and Mihajlo Petrovic, designer of ceramics), Mrs Dusica Brguljan, attendant of this school of ceramics for many years , Mrs Danica Pilipovic from Donji Dubac and under the sponsorship of the director of Center for culture, sport and tourism, municipality of Lucani “Dragacevo” Guca Mr Adam Tadic with intention to affirm ceramics, to link the cultural resources and very attractive natural localities of Dragacevo.

With its activity this colony should give more attention to the living tematics of this part of Serbia, to affirm artistic activity and exchange experience. On that way they will promote one of the oldest arts- ceramics.

Two colonies were already organized and the third will be organized in the period from 25.06 – 02.07. 2008. in Guca.
