The 47th festival has started

The explosions of mortars were heard all over Guca  at 10 o’clock this morning .With the sounds of festival anthem “From Ovcar and Kablar” and sounds of trumpets of Jovica Pavlovic’s the festival flag was raised.

The 47th Dragacevo festival of trumpeters is opened

The festival flag was raised by Mr. Miloljub Albijanic,The Vice-President of The Assembly of The republic of Serbia  ,who wished hosts all the best and successful festival ,preserving of tradition and culture.

Schedule for Wednesday 08/08/2007

-16.00 Opening of art exhibitions and works of Dragacevo women weavers (The building of County headquarters).

-18.00 Culture artistic program (stage in front the Culture Hall)

-20.00 Presenting of the books and publications published between two festivals (Culture Hall)

-21.00 Projection of the documentary film “The smell of brass”by NICOP’s production, Paris ,France.

Goran Bregovic on Friday at 23.00

Because of the direct TV broadcasting and involving into the program schedule ,Goran Bregovic’s concert will start at 23.00.

From 46th to 47th festival

When the winning sounds become silent, Dragacevo trumpets go over Ovcar and Kablar into the world.The participation in the festival opens new roads to orchestras towards foreign and domestic festivals and tourist manifestations .

Between 46th and 47th festival ,Dragacevo trumpets have been heard in Belgrade,Belgrade Fair,Herzeg Novi –“Days of Mimosa”,Novi Sad,The international fair of agriculture ,Vrnjacka Spa-18th Market of tourism ,Ub.Grocka,Donja Trepca,but also in Poland,Germany,France

Technical innovations on the festival

In the aim of more effective information about the festival ,The Center for culture,port and tourism has enabled  conditions for modern communication of journalists with their publishing houses and following of all festival events in all parts of the world .

Journalist will have on their disposal fast computers of the last generation ,with microphones and camera ,fast online connection which gives the possibility of direct ,live communication with their companies (as well as with their families).

The official website of The Center for culture, sport and tourism is www.sabortrubaca.com enables direct accreditation of journalists in Serbian, English, German, and French language .the visitors of the website (over 1,300,000 so far) will be able to reach the information about the history of The festival,road maps to Guca,the city plan of Guca…

On this website during the festival will be given information about all festival events and programs.On the front page of the website will be edited video recordings from the place of events ,and in the section photo gallery the visitors will be able to see the latest pictures from the festival ,that will be updated several times daily.

Trumpet motives in Homolje

In Kucevo,Serbia ,was from 28/05/2007 to 03/06/2007 hold ,in the scope of 40th Manifestation of national original creativity “Homolje Motives”,the second festival of trumpeters “The Miroslav Matusic’s trumpet”,a competition of trumpet solo players where for the title of the best competed 12 competitors.

For the best trumpet solo player the official jury claimed Dejan Lazarevic from Pozega,the second was Sinisa Stankovic from Zaguzanje and the third Bojan Krstic from Vladicin Han.

In the informal part of the program played orchestras of Jovica Pavlovic from Guca and Mile |Stanic from Cacak.

In the organization of this festival ,mutually with the main organizer ,The Kucevo center for culture ,also participated The Center for culture,sport and tourism of the municipality of |Lucani “Dragacevo”from Guca.That was also the promotion  of the dragacevo festival of trumpeters in the East Serbia  and the sound invitation for the 47th Festival.
